Sticker Care
Stick it right and peel it clean. Here's how to get the most out of your SKREE stickers.
How to Apply
- Wipe the surface clean so there's no dust, oil or fingerprints. A little rubbing alcohol works best. Let it dry completely.
- Peel the sticker off its backing, holding it by the edges.
- Place it where you want it and press down from the centre outwards to push out any air bubbles.
- Give it 24 hours to settle before it gets wet or goes near heat.
Best on: smooth, hard surfaces like laptops, phone cases, water bottles, notebooks, helmets and mirrors.
Avoid: fabric, rough or textured surfaces, and freshly painted walls.
How to Remove
- Warm the sticker with a hairdryer on a low setting for about 20–30 seconds, keeping it moving. This softens the glue.
- Lift one corner with your fingernail. Don't use blades or anything sharp.
- Peel slowly, keeping it low and folding it back over itself. If it starts to resist, warm it again for a few seconds.
Some Residue Left Behind?
Our stickers are made to come off clean, but a little residue can happen, especially when:
- the sticker has been on for many months
- it's been near heat or sunlight (laptop vents, car dashboards, a sunny window)
- it was stuck on a rough or porous surface
- it was peeled off cold or quickly
To clean it up:
- Roll it off with your fingertip. Small bits usually ball up and lift away.
- Use a soft cloth with a few drops of rubbing alcohol or coconut oil, then wipe the area clean and dry.
- Test on a hidden spot first. Avoid nail polish remover (acetone), harsh chemicals and scrubbers on plastic, painted or coated surfaces like laptop lids.
How cleanly a sticker comes off depends on the surface, how long it's been on, and how much heat or sun it's had.
